The Blue Flag beaches and marinas

The Blue Flag is a certification by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) given to beaches, boats and marina’s that meet excellence in the areas of safety, amenities, cleanliness and environmental standards.
Tenerife boasts fifteen Blue Flag beaches and two Blue Flags for the Marinas of Los Gigantes and the Real Club Náutico de Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

    Costal, sandy. Urban beach, close to El Médano municipality, next to Nuestra Señora de Roja y la zona and El Cabezo square. Facilities: there is a kiosk near the site

    El Duque

    Quiet beach, with sand. Good disabled facilities. Next to Adeje municipality, Close to El Bobo Beach. With restaurants.

    GUÍA DE ISORA
    San Juan

    Guia de Isora, is a coastal area of 3 km long and an average height of 30 meters on both sides of the mouth of the Barranco de Erques. The coastal landscape and cliff is fairly uniform, interrupted by torrential mouths that give rise to small coves and pebble beaches. The importance of these cliffs is found in the cavities that have occurred in their walls, resulting from the effects of erosion of the rock, which is a great place for nesting seabirds rare and protected by law. This landscape is the natural border between the town of Adeje and Guía de Isora. In this natural area is the basin of a spectacular gorge, narrow and deep, with a great geomorphological interest. on the beach there is a tourist information center where you can find information about the environment and environmental activities that are on the beach. Also for disabled activities.

    SANTIAGO DEL TEIDE
    La Arena

    Fine sand, urban beach, sports intallations, public transport, near accommodation, Disable facilities. Near natural sites: Floral crown of Teide´s National Park, Natural reservour of Chinyero and the Teno´s rural Park.
    Life saving timetable: Winter season: between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. / Summer season: between 9 a.m. and 7p.m.

    LOS REALEJOS
    El Socorro

    Fine sand, rural beach, near natural sites. The beach is situed in the north zone of the municipality of the Realejos.
    Environmental education and other facilities: Socorro Beach Municipal house of the culture Nature area Emilio Munñoz.
    Life saving timetable: From July to Septembre (9:30 – 19 h) and from Novembre to May (11 – 18 h)

    Real Club Náutico de Santa Cruz de Tenerife
    The Marina Yacht Club real Tenerife is nestled in turn at the Port of goods from the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife , capital of the province . It is also a meeting point for its members and friends and supports a symbolic meaning for the working class and business on the island. It has many activities facing the nautical world and watersports and is directly linked to the promotion of sport fishing and recreational boating.

    Puerto Deportivo Los Gigantes
    The Port of Los Gigantes is located opposite the massif that bears his name. The marina of Los Gigantes is a port that has for years been working to improve environmental management and the inclusion of comprehensive security systems that raise the quality level of the entire facility. Currently he is a role model in environmental activities and highlights because it has one of the events to promote major marine protection(dolphins ) in the world . It also hosts several events that promote environmental care environment and the safety of the entire system.
