¿What is Médano Training Centre (MTC)?
MTC is a training centre where the Crossfit methodology is used for our clients. We give alot of importance about the personal attention in each class, so the group in a class is kept to a minimum, which is as of now 4 per class. Classes are taught by Tomas Grundahl, who is a physiotherapist, expert in sports physiotherapy and a personal trainer with a Crossfit Level 1 Certificate. All workouts are customizable for anyone taking into consideration their physical health, limitations and abilities.
¿What is the CrossFit Methodology?
It is a strength and fitness training program; using functional movements, constantly varied, performed at high intensity. CrossFit has become a very popular discipline for training among those who want to improve their fitness level regardless of age, sex or current fitness level. The objectives of Crossfit is to improve your fitness at all levels.
The three pillars of the Crossfit methodology:
Gymnastics: Exercises using your own body weight.
Metabolic: Exercises that cause cardiovascular endurance.
Olympic Lifting: Exercises that include lifting weights.
The CrossFit methodology works to develop the ten domains that define Fitness: Cardiovascular Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed , Coordination, Agility, Balance and Accuracy/Precision. Everyday (Monday through Friday) a new training session will be published on our Facebook page. This Workout Of the Day or also known as WOD, will consist of a warm up, technique/strength or test and the workout. Everyone who comes to class that day, will do the same WOD.
Open from Mondays to Fridays:
Clases every hour and of one hour duration.
9:00 to 12:00 & from 18:00 to 21:00
Try your first class for free!
2 classes per week: 40€ a month.
3 classes perweek: 60€ a month.
Everyday : 80€ a month.
